Love this and needed this today!
Pretty sure I just need to write my thoughts down...no better place than on a blog that's been neglected for almost a year, right.
So, straight to it I go.
Christmas....If you don't believe in Christ, then don't celebrate it and leave it at that.
No one has the right to take CHRIST out of Christmas!
There are few topics I will fight for and this is definitely one of them.
Why do certain people feel the need to destroy something so amazing? In fact, where do these people find the time to do so?!? I hardly have a life and I can't imagine spending the spare time I have trying to ruin something so beautiful.
I am so sick and tired of "Politically Correct" or "Make sure everyone feels like they fit-in" crap that I could scream!
Is this not the reason(s) we are supposed to say Happy Holidays now or why we aren't allowed to pray in school anymore? As most know, I love kids and would hate to ever have any of them feel left out.
BUT that to me is where the problem is!
Cancel everything so everyone feels like they fit in?
Brilliant.
I feel children are more resilient than what we as a society give them credit for. I see too many parents getting their feelings hurt because they feel like their child isn't fitting in. Ever wonder why the future of America doesn't know how or want to work?....obviously that is a stereotype...sort of. Sure, I don't have children and may not understand. However, I was a child once and I am grateful my parents let me live and learn. They taught me how to work; which to me is such a gift within itself. Not only that, my parents didn't fight my battles which taught me how to accept defeat...because it will happen.
Strap them boots back on, get up and go at it again.
It is okay that we are all different....Love One Another for who we are.
It is okay that we are all different....Love One Another for who we are.
While working in retail years ago, I was not allowed to say "Merry Christmas" to our customers. Why? Because that particular person may not celebrate it and I may offend him/her?
Well, Guess what?
I celebrate Christmas!
Pretty soon, the majority will be the minority when it comes to Christmas. It won't be about believing in Santa Clause anymore; more about believing in Christ or not.

I will NEVER let anyone change my belief that Christ is Christmas because without Him, I wouldn't be here.
I love my Savior.
Christmas is His day & always will be.
So anyway, now that I've been able to rant for a bit, this is the reason I felt inclined to write today. I love it!
I couldn't agree more. Well written.
